Guest Jonathan Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I have installed FTP 7 on Windows Server 2008. I am able to connect to the FTP server from IE 7 on the machine, but I cannot see files. I cannot open the FTP in windows explorer. From other machine, I can also connect, but I cannot view directories, see files or upload files. I have set the FTP server to allow only anonymous connections, given the anonymous user the right to browse, read and write. I tried a number of items related to the firewall to resolve them. Finally, I disabled the firewall, but that did not resolve the issue either. First does anyone have any recommendations? Second, I have just spent four hours working on something that would have taken me 3 minutes on Windows 2003 and I have not resolved it. How can I recommend Windows 2008 to my customers if I cannot even install FTP? Microsoft ???
