Server 2008 sharing folder issue

I have installed Server 2008 multiple times the past few days. I join to

domain, dcpromo (after /forestprep and /domainprep).

Everything works fine, then all the sudden I can no longer create shares. I

start troubleshooting something (either the GPO's dont come over properly or

Netlogon/Sysvol dont create - for that I referrenced to the MS KB article to

change the flag in the registry) but now and last few times when I go to

create a share, i get:

Windows File Sharing

This program will not run

The system cannot find the file specified

Nothing in the event log but that same error.

I get this

"The Netlogon service could not create server share

C:\Windows\SYSVOL\sysvol\domainname\SCRIPTS. The following error occurred:

The system cannot find the file specified."

I dont get it. The only thing i can think of that i did was disable 2 out of

the 3 network cards (which arent even plugged in) I reenabled them, still no

dice.

HELP!

For starters, can you verify that the SCRIPTS folder exist? If yes, what

permission does the SCRIPTS folder have?

Re: Server 2008 sharing folder issue

Also getting this

The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file

\\datacubegroup.local\SysVol\datacubegroup.local\Policies\{6735FC39-79AE-4C4B-AAC5-11D739490FB6}\gpt.ini

from a domain controller and was not successful. Group Policy settings may

not be applied until this event is resolved. This issue may be transient and

could be caused by one or more of the following:

a) Name Resolution/Network Connectivity to the current domain controller.

b) File Replication Service Latency (a file created on another domain

controller has not replicated to the current domain controller).

c) The Distributed File System (DFS) client has been disabled.
