Is anyone else experiencing problems with Google Chrome lately?

Just lately I have been getting frozen pages and when eventually I can get into task manager the cpu is running at 100% which is nearly all Chrome.

I am not getting any problems with Firefox so it's obviously Chrome. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but to no avail.

Hi key_man10. I use Chrome as my default Browser, and what I do often is select the Wrench/Spanner,far right, click on Tools, then clear Browsing Data.

Uncheck saved Password box,if it isn't already.

Very fast Browser, when I clear the Browsing Data.

See if it works for you.:)

I cant use chrome as my AV keeps disabling it or giving me warnings about it being unsafe. Try using firefox 4 Its stable and lighting fast as well as HTML 5 compatable. Its still only beta but ive been using it for a few weeks and its the fastest browser ive used since safari. I find chrome to be the slowest and most unreliable. Its even worse than IE 8. Firefox 4 is currently on Beta 7 so shouldnt be much longer before its official release. Ive been using it since beta 4 and havent had any problems with it at all. Not even a crash

Hi Cliff60.

A good read here in another thread,re FireFox4 Beta.

Of course FF would be faster,if your AV Flags Chrome.:p

I have FF as well, and Chrome kicks FF's Butt, for speed.:)

It depends what the site is up to when you click on it. I use F/F mostly but love chrome too! it's about the same speed as F/F maybe a tad faster. But listen to these Guys here!! Don't use beta unless you have the skills to fight with it. My guess is i'm not good enogh to use beta Thats why I use this site lol. Have a good weekend ;)

I have to agree.I would wait till the final release of FF.

Most issues with FF,are the Add- On's,which are not tested by Mozilla.

Use which ever Browser that suits your requirements.:)
