Unique screen resolutions for User Accounts?

Using XP Home 32 bit. My wife and I share a single desktop PC. She prefers a

different screen resolution than I do. Is there anyway that unique screen

resolutions can be tied to different user accounts?

Hi Charlie,

Not that I'm aware of. Many video cards have a System Tray applet that

loads on Startup that can easily adjust the resolution with just a

click. Check and see if you don't have one already, and if you don't

check with the video card manufacturer to see if one isn't available.

Keep in mind that if you're using a flat panel, the native resolution is

usually the one that displays best.

Tweak UI has an option in Logon/Settings that can copy certain elements

to a Desktop at log on. One of them is system elements (scroll bars,

etc) and fonts. So you could try configuring different fonts sizes and

elements that suit your liking.

Thank you very much for the speedy support. The third party freeware program

works great. I also looked at Doug Knox's application but did not feel

comfortable trying to install it manually. I have used some of Doug's stuff

over the years (like his util for msconfig disabled entries) however the

other program had an installer and it works a treat. TY all who responded

Shenan and Terry and netpatsfan...
