You dont want a 4000Watt one  400W will be enough :D

A standard ATX psu should be fine, you ideally want to go for around the 500W mark if you can, I always use Antec or Seasonic PSU's

Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)

Asus P5K premium black pearl

4GB OCZ Reaper 8500

argh, sorry, 400w yeah, as long as I dont do the same when paying the bills!

thats great - thanks .. so standard atx are a generic fitting I take it . just was not sure as the imedia case is a small stubby affair

It depends on the case, but it 'should' be fine, the larger PSUs 800Watt+ are slightly longer than others but you dont need that much.

And as for the GPU, when you check to see if you have the PCI-E x16 then you can get a GTX 460 GPU as they are the best value for money at the moment

dual core thread ... mopre efficient

Actually it is not more efficient. Members don't see both threads. Only you do. As such they can't expand on the information given on other threads.

You not only do yourself a disservice by posting multiple threads it wastes other peoples time by bouncing back and forth between threads trying to put all the information together. And if they get it wrong you get it wrong.

I will also point out rule 7 in the The Rules which states:

"Do not double post in any forum with regard to the same topic, doing so will result in the removal of the second post."

So you really will miss out on a lot of information if we delete one of your entire threads.

Jelly Bean was doing you a favor by politely informing you of this and not deleting your other thread as she had every right to do. Please respect that fact and don't double post again.

Thankyou RandyL.

It is simply a case of the same computer/laptop that needs questions and answers...

Lets keep it alltogether in one thread, this helps us help you much easier and quicker and gives other forum users to learn and get some tips...

Personaly I dislike having to jump back and forth to threads that are all about the same machine and confuse help and fixes given....

It also can delay help given....
