Guest pete0085 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I am trying to modify permissions of a specific file or files and getting an error of invalid arguments. cacls "%SystemRoot%\Inf\Usbstor.pnf" /t /e /c /g "DOMAIN\DOMAIN USERS":D I'm entering that into the command prompt. I also used "c:\windows" in place of systemroot. Also tried with or without quotes.

Perm can be: R Read W Write C Change (write) F Full control It's R, W, C or F. There is no "D"!
