SimonMG Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Hi We reinstalled windows xp home edition on my evesham micro midi tower. When we start the machine we get the following message. Informaton - can not find audio chip then it makes reference to cmedia. Have I broken something? missing software, blown a gasket? Cmediai website seems rather too technical for the likes of me. Oh yes, and the speakers now don't work. Any input gratefully received Thanks Simon Quote
Jelly Bean Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Hello simon.... You need to download and install the sound driver. You need to go to the computers makers website like Dell,HP or another and under there support tab input the make and model of your computer and it will give you hardware driver downloads. If you get stuck please post back. Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
