XP SP3 Dowload Stopped, system will not Boot

[Guest Bill]

During the install of SP3 about after 1/2 hour of installing files, message

appeared saying acess denied. The system then started to remove files

installed but never seemed to complete this phase when the system stried to

restart. System does not boot up past black scrren with xp logo. Opened in

safe mode twice and used system restore for the two most recent set points.

Each system restore took about 15 to 30 min to restore files but system is

still dead in the water and will not boot up. Help Please!!! What options do

I have besides a system recovery???

“Service Pack installation did not complete”

Thanks PA but my system is dead right now. Cannot boot back up after the

failed update. How can I get my system back up without a complete system

recovery?
