PseFrank Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Hi Whitpit.... Which service pack was included in the version of win xp that you installed? If you have anything other than SP3 installed you may not be able to receive security updates. Click on the link below, and carefully read the information given. Dalo Harkin Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 You may have to install the driver manually from control panel>device manager If you click update driver, there are a few options, select the bottom where you will choose a driver to install - there should be one listed that is Microsoft - use that and you should get sound... RandyL Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I see VPCW11S1E/P, VPCW11S1E/T and VPCW11S1E/W at the Sony site. It appears that the audio driver from Sony is the same for all of them. Did you download the Audio_Driver_Realtek_5.10N_Q_32_5.10.0.5830.zip from Sony? Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
