esray29 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 There is a constant green LED near the power supply and then a 2nd blinking red LED near the ram and front panel connectors. Right below the blinking red light it says "Front Panel USB" (although the front panel USB seems to be in its proper place). When I power on, the PC turns on, but windows wont load on the monitor and the monitor stays in standby mode. Also, the keyboard lights do not come on. The computer is an emachines D2880. The computer is horrible but I am giving it to a refugee family who could really use it. Thanks! Quote

Open Power Options to change the advanced power settings, and expand Sleep and Hibernate After. 2. Under Hibernate after, set the Setting (Minutes) to Never. 3. Under Allow hybrid sleep, set Setting to Off. 4. Click on OK. Quote Confidence, is the feeling I get, moments before I stuff something up.
