It's so funny because I have a brand new Intel based computer with Dual Core

processor, SATA discs, 2 Gbs of RAM and when I try to record a DVD with Nero

Windows Media Player can't play music at normal speed! (it stops, clips

audio or play very slow).

How should I configure my windows 2003 server computer?

(I have win2k3 because this a development machine).

Thanks a lot.

Is it funny "peculiar" or funny "ha ha ha"? I can't hear it from here.

If you're trying to record a DVD *and* play music at the same time, that

sounds like a bad idea to me in general, regardless of OS. Make sure you've

got the correct drivers for your sound card, record at a lower speed, and

don't have your computer doing too much else in the background while you're

recording.
