I have a usb device. I am trying to get software to work for it, but the

software is asking which com# port device is on. How do I get this to work?

Start by reading though the installation instructions for the usb device

once. Then follow them step by step as you install it.

It's a coin acceptor with a USB input. It works with the software it came

with because there is a choice between USB and COM# ports. I am trying to

get it to work for a coin accepting jukebox and all the software I can find

only has COM# ports and no USB port selection. I need to get the computer to

recognize the device as a COM# input device to work with the software.

Thanks for the help. Keep trying.

The correct driver that is supplied with the device will need to be

installed for the system to see it on the USB and allow COM nuber to be set.
