Guest Erik Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 I have a Server 2003 SP2 file server that has worked flawlessly for months on end. This morning I attempted to install the IIS components from the "add / remove windows component" interface, it asked for the standard the 'IIS_iis_switch.bat' file on Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition CDRom under i386 folder. Huh? I have searched high and low but have been unable to locate this file anywhere. So, my actual question is: Does this file really exist? Has anyone ever seen this file? Did I do something to deserve this trouble, or is this simply a problem with the sequence of installation events? I have looked everywhere, and tried everything I can think of, any and all suggestions are welcome! Thanks, Erik
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Re: IIS installation on Win ser 2003 sp2 'IIS_iis_switch.bat' Hello Erik, Are you sure that you use the correct disk? The file should be included in the iis6.cab file.
