Offline Files incorrectly in Offline mode

Hello,

 

We are running standard Windows XP SP2 in a 2000 AD environment.

Periodically our XP clients offline files state goes into offline mode when

no change has occured in the network connection speed. Once this starts, the

offline files state switches to "offline" throughout the day even after being

synchronized. All of our systems are connected together via a cisco gigabit

switch.

 

The behavior persists even though we've replaced cabling, client hardware,

reimage client, and replaced the core switch.

 

Given all of this, it seems to be related to the file server that houses the

file shares.

 

Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this? Thank you.
