It powers up, then sticks at a blank screen with the label 'microsoft corporation' with a prgress bar showing green bars moving left to right. To switch it off I have to remove battery. Can you advise on what to do? Quote

Constantly tap f8 ( about once per second ) after switching on. Which Operating System are you using? Do you have the installation CD / DVD ? or Recovery Disks ?
