SP2 installation

I know I am behind but I have been trying to install SP2 for about 6 months

now. I downloaded the file 4 times and when I try to install it is almost

finishes and then says the "file is corrupt". Tried it on both computers and

get the same message. Then I tried the automatic update and I get "cannot

access files" error. Tried this 3 times with the virus program on and off

and the firewall on and off.

HELP what do I do? How can I install sp2?

Re: SP2 installation

Try it in clean boot mode or safe mode.

Re: SP2 installation

I have tried it in clean boot AND safe mode. Still get the same error

"access denied".

I really do not want to muck around with the registry.

Is there any other way?
