Does anyone have any experience using light-duty, non Internet messaging

software like BopUps, PinkNotes, Phoneslips, Quickpops, Lantalk, etc. with

Terminal

Server users? Any of them work decently when users are connecting through

TS?

Thanks

I haven't tried the others, so don't know, but we've been using

Phoneslips in our office for about 10 years without any major

problems. We have about 10 users in the office, and about 5 who use

remote desktop/TS from home and when out of town. They also use the

remote product that Phoneslips has, and now they just released a

mobile phone version that we are hoping to try soon. The setup used

to be a little involved to get TS working if everyone was using the

same PC/server, no problems if each was just using their own PC

remotely, but as of the last couple years they have improved that a

lot and now it just works really well in either case. Even have one

person who upgraded to Vista and they remote control it with

Phoneslips running and no problems.

Not certain, but have used VyChat in a non-TS enviroment for years. (I

think last time I checked, it was written up as working fine on TS but I

don't have the time to double-check right now.) Simple. Light. Works.

See also their other products - maybe one of those would be better?

Although common it frequently goes undiagnosed.
