Guest Rick Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 I have been trying to set up SyncToy2 between my XPSP2 desktop and my Vista Home Premium laptop. The results have been irregular at best. Is there a problem of communication between the two systems? Is it possible to synchronise the two computers with SyncToy2? Thanks in advance. Rick

Same problem. I now think it has something to do with setting the sharing details. Somehow I have to set the Vista folders to allow changes from the XP machine. Even when I run SyncToy from the Vista laptop, it only works some of the time. Doesn't anyone have experience with this kind of XP<->Vista synchronization? Rick
