on my laptop using windows home edition, I'd like to set a picture as a

desktop background. Before, it was working but now, it doesn't as probably

something was cliqued somewhere but I don't know where.

When I do it through "display", the button " browse is unclickable and via

the picyure itself, I can click on "set as a desktop background" but nothing

happens.

Can someone help.

Thank you.

Re: how to Set a picture as a desktop background

sometimes if the

pic is too large,

there isn't enough

memory to display

it or its file format

is not the correct

one.

in any case, here

is a link with more

information:

http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?q=desktop+picture&qsc0=0&SearchBtn0=Search&mkt=en-us&FORM=SSME

-----Method--2-:---------------------------

If you have XP -Pro :

Open your picture in Internet Explorer.

Right-click the picture and choose "Set as Background".
