I have created a BartPE from a XP professional installation CD. My question

is: is is possible to test it out on a Home edition system? I mean just look

at the IDE if there is any. I am not going to apply any of the options.

Final question: when I run the BartPE CD does it mean that my desktop is now

running XP professional and not Home edition?

OR

While running under a Bart PE boot you're running the

Windpws PE installation environment. You're NOT running

the OS that is installed on your hard disk. You can therefore

use it on any machine, regardless of its installed OS.

Re: bartPE

i would also add

to barts pe the plug-in

for "drive image xml" and

add the "drive image xml"

software to that cd.

with the above and

the additional cd's that

have the "images" for

your o.s., your recovery

is assured.
