printer related problems

I’m having two printer related problems on my Win2k3 R2 SP2 Terminal Server:

1. Local printers from fat clients disappear and reappear in a random fashion.

2. Thin clients default printers get changed to a specific other printer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: printer related problems

Have you checked the EventLog on the server and kept and eye on the

print spooler service?

Sounds to me like the spooler is crashing, which most likely would be

caused by a 3rd party printer driver which is not TS compatible.
