Guest Tech 24 Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 on the print server i recently installed the service pack 2 for Windows Server 2003. After there are some network printers (HP laserjet 2300,2420 and 2430) that are going offline.. The reason that is happening for some unknow reason HP put the HPZBDI32.msi reference in the dependent file If you remove the reference to the msi in the registry for that driver it should stop trying to install that is my current work around and I have an open ticket with HP I escalated yesterday The best thing to do is a registry search on HPZBDI32.msi to see which driver is causing the issue The registry path is most likely [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3\(driver) Double click the dependent file and delete the text HPZBDI32.msi
