Silverlight

Hi,

Over the past few months I have become aware of a program on my computer ( Using XP Home). It's called Silverlight and although it is in my add and remove programs list, it will not let me delete it. It isn't installed on my computer because I have been trying to install it but it keeps popping up a message that the path cannot be found.

I am using Sky website now as my homepage and it's telling me if I want to use their player I have to have this Silverlight program installed. So now I have come full circle. Can you tell me a, how to remove from computer and b, how can I install a working program of it. Thanks,

I wouldnt remove anything unless you know what it does, this is what it does:-

Microsoft Silverlight

 

You can have a look in windows updates (it should appear as an optional update)

 

and you can install it from the very bottom of the page that I added above :)
