Guest Josep Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I've seen in Microsoft webpage (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/features/compare-features.mspx) that Express Edition it uses only one CPU. But is just one physical CPU or one "virtual" CPU. I mean. If I've one Intel Quad, will it use all CPUs or just one of the 4th CPUs? Thank you in advance, Josep.

I don't understand your question but the standard answer to THIS question follows: Does a single CPU with multiple cores count as one or multiple CPUs? A single CPU with multiple cores counts as ONE CPU for licensing and product "restriction" purposes.
