TS remote desktop on Domain Controller

Recommended Posts

I was trying to get TS remote desktop working on my Lab Machine last night

(which is a domain controller). I understand that the GPO needs to be

changed to llow log on through Terminal Services.

I can't for the life of me find the GPO entry though.

Am I right that it ought to be in Default Domain Controller Policy:

Computer Configuration - Windows Settings - Security Settings

- Local Policies - User rights Assignment ?

Am I missing a trick here?

Cheers

Pete

Yes, that's the correct path. Do you mean that you don't have the

"Allow log on through Terminal Services" entry there, or that the

whole User rights assignments entry is missing, or...?

Maybe you need to update your .adm templates?
