Blank Screen

Ok, i don't really know how to start with this so i'll just get straight

to it.

Today I turned on my computer, same as pretty much everyday, however i

experienced a problem with my monitor.

The initial startup screen appeared (with the XP and dashes moving

across the screen) but after that the screen went blank. Through my

speakers i could hear that windows had fired up however i couldn't see

anything on the screen.

I logged onto the other computer in our house (lets call it computer B)

and using logmein I tried to log on to the broken computer (computer A).

I could log on as usual however a blank screen appeared on that too.

Following this I plugged the monitor of this computer into computer A,

the same happened with the monitor of computer B. I did however notice a

few small pixles at the top of the screen, not sure if it's significant

but i guess it shows that there is some output.

Following these different tests i can only think that there may be

something wrong with the graphics card...

Any help would be greatly appreactiated.

Thanks,

If I understood that mess, your monitor didn't work, so you plugged it

into a different computer and it still didn't work? Bad monitor.

If that's not what you said in all that, I've no idea whatsoever what

you meant.
