wordpad, I cannot seem to get right to left language support

in win xp sp2 wordpad 5.2

a friend says he has the same xp sp2 and wordpad 5.2, but he says his

works.

Notepad or the run dialog box, supports right-left alignment..

CTRL+SHIFT is left alignment. CTRL+RSHIFT is right alignment.

You get this functionality when you install support for right to left

languages.

But for some reason on my system, it is not working in wordpad.

Any ideas why?

I think you're mixing two concepts. One concept refers to "alignment",

meaning that text is aligned on the left margin or on the right margin.

The other concept is right-to-left writing, as used in Arabic.

I'm not aware of any shortcut keys in Wordpad that will align the

text left or right. However, you can set your own shortcut keys

to move the keyboard from a left-to-right language to a right-to-

left language. It's done in the Control Panel / Regional Settings.

What precisely did I write that makes you think that I am mixing the 2

concepts?

Interpet me literally and show where my mistake is. If you think I

have made one.
