repurc Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I own a Acer 5633WLMi about 3 months old running Windows Vista. For about the last week or so, it has started deleting everything I click on that can be deleted, eg, emails, short cuts, contacts, pages of word document. It doesn't just delete one thing, it continues for eg, it will click on an email I want to open, delete it, then highlight the next one and so on until they have all been deleted. Also with somethings it asks are you sure you want to delete this shortcut, for example and if I click on no, or try to close the box it beeps and won't let me and the only way I can get rid of the window is by closing it using task manager. Anyone know what's wrong with it? Thanks Quote

SS Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 A stuck 'Delete' key? It sounds crazy but it might explain it. Or perhaps its more subtle - a dodgy connection somewhere with your keyboard (or mouse, I've seen it happen). Try using a different keyboard and/or mouse (try all combinations) and see if that helps. RandyL Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Even a bad mouse can cause this. I once saw a mouse that had been thrown against a wall cause a one click off problem. Not mine. Not likely your issue but just in case. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
