Hey I was wondering if any one could help me in upgrading my PC, i have a Packard Bell ixtreme X5620 UK and i want to upgrade my graphics card. But i need to find a card that will work in my computer, and i need to upgrade my PSU but im not sure if any of it is compatitable with my motherboard. Or how to find out about the pins on the PSU, dont understand that bit.

 

Information about my computer:

 

MotherBoard: MCP73PVT-PM

Which has a free PCI E X16 slot.

 

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300

 

Memory: Slot 1: DDR2 2048 mb

Slot 2: DDR2 2048 mb

 

Current Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7100 256mb Intergrated

You have a PCIe x16 ....

The site has a range of cards reviewed - it depends on what you want to pay.

 

You may need to upgrade your Power Supply Unit.

This would depend on what you have already and which card you select.

 

Your RAM ( 4GB ) would seem to be fine - again it depends on what you want to do.

In a 32 bit system you have the max.

 

If you can supply a little more information about your PSU and what you want to use the system for - we may be able to offer a little more advice.
