Is the wireless LAN LED lit on the front of your router ?

This is the second LED from the left.

It should be lit green.

 

If it isn't ....

 

On the back of the router there is a reset.

You can try resetting the router to default settings by pressing this for 10 seconds.

 

In the router settings:

Make sure that "Broadcast SSID" has a check against it.

You can find this where you changed the channel number.

Mac Address Filtering is an option - suggested in an earlier post.

See page 72.

make sure this feature is off.

 

Also see page 74 - Blocking ping.

Uncheck this if it is ticked - you can always go back and enable it.

(this will not be the cause of you not being able to connect to the net - but you may be able to ping the router )

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
