Repair installation

I go to do a standard repair install on a hard drive I have just cloned using

Acronis Disk Director. Using an XP Home Retail disk at the point in which I

need to type my product key I get an invalid product key. After I look a bit

closer I noticed The window is titled Windows XP proffessional Upgrade. Why

would it tell me it is XP proffesional Upgrade when it is neither of those

things?

It wouldn't. Check the CD you are using.
