Volcano Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Windows is waiting on a black screen, then it waits something like white bar to load, after that it starts normally, loading the windows bar.Almost it takes five mins to reach the desktop for me.Why? *This PC has been formatted new. Quote

Can you give a little more detail as exactly what was done to your computer..for example: Has a clean Install been carried out? And if so, was this done recently? And also, could you give a few more details about the computer... Make and model? How much Ram is installed? (Press Flag/Start key + Pause/Break key) Have you carried out any Virus/Malware scans recently? Has the computer been Defragmented recently? (Not needed if formatted recently) What percentage of space is free on the HDD? (Right click on C: drive and choose properties) Can you hear any clicking or ticking noises from the computer? (Not to be confused with fan noise) Sorry about the questions, but these details may help diagnose your problem..
