Rich,

 

You can continue arguing the point, but the reality is that SP3 will NOT

install directly over XP 'gold.'

 

There have been ongoing discussions about this since February or March, with

the various beta releases of SP3.

 

You're giving false information when you keep repeating that SP3 can be

installed over 'plain' XP.
