Hiding notification icons

Hi all,

 

I don't want to turn off the notification area on my build but would like to

hide specific icons. Is this possible? The one I'm really concerned with is

the Sophos icon. Thanks,

You might look at the following regkey. The icons are saved in this key.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify

 

I do not have any experience with editing the iconstreams, but i think this

is how it's done
