I've enabled .NET Framework on both my TS's but I'm not seeing my local /

network printers. Do I still need to add printer drivers?

TIA

Did you Share the printers? If Yes, you do need to add them, but they should

be seen when adding a network printer.

No, they are my local printers on my PC (which is on a seperate domain).

RE: Easy Print

Lets see if i understand, you are logged in to Terminial Server (a different

computer) than the one the printer is connected to. If that is true, you

still need to share the printer on you local computer because the TS session

is running on a seperate computer and needs to be able to see the printer.

You do need to make that you have Administrative rights when adding the

printer for the first time to the TS, and you have to add the printer to each

session you need to use it on the TS.

Re: Easy Print

Mike,

you need Windows Server 2008 and Vista Client oder Windows XP SP3 Client

with RDC 6.

Then you have to check the printer redirection box in the RDC-Client.

Oliver

Re: Easy Print

Mike,

please check the event log of the server.

Also check if somebody disabled printer-redirection (Terminal Service

Configuration / Properties of RDP-protocol).

Regards

Oliver

Re: Easy Print

Hey Mike,

The XP client machines need to have .net framework 3 or newer installed to

use the Easy Print driver. Otherwise the printer's driver needs to exist on

the TS server.

Hope this helps,

Steve
