kate1812 Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Hello....I have inherited this machine from my son and it's running "dodgy xp" :( I am awaiting delivery of windows xp home edition + SP2 (OEM) that I have purchased from a reputable supplier and will install as soon as is received. However, there are photographs and music on this hard drive that I would like to keep, and I understand that all data will be erased on an install of XP. Can I save these files onto a portable hard drive if I buy one and how can I do this. Your help is really appreciated. Thankyou Quote
