event logging after installing IE7

We upgraded to IE7 on only a handful of XP computers when it was first

released. Each of those computers shared a similar issue: The Application

and System logs seemed to stop logging events, despite being configured to

Overwrite Events Older Than - 7 days. The problem seemed to be alleviated by

changing the setting to Overwrite Events As Needed. It was a minor issue

that was quickly forgotten. Now, however, we've rolled out IE7 to all of our

computers and I am seeing the same issue. I don't want to go too long

without addressing this problem.

 

By the way, I see an IE6 Discussion Group, but not one for IE7...thus,

posting here in the XP General group. (For anyone who cares, finding the

proper Group to post problems seems to be a chore each time I need to ask a

question. Am I alone here?)
