Open folders get closed on reboot?

It used to be in XP that open files "stayed open"

after a reboot. That was cool, a neat way and reminder

to continue working where I was before booting.

After installing a program, (WinAce archiver,) that

went away, and it acts like Win3/95/98 did.

Anybody know a way to get that feature back?

Thanks!

PURE Republicanism?? It's now clear.

Six years of PURE Republicanism - BOTH houses

AND the Prez. Pure as it gets.

So?

Are you better off now than seven years ago?

Are you proud with what they have done to

America and her reputation? ...Your reputation?

....all that sleaze, lies and bribery?

How about all the killing...the torture? Proud?

If actions speak louder than rhetoric, then

name ONE good thing about Republicanism.

Just one.

Just one *real* thing.

Can't do it?

So? Your Republicanism more like a bad habit then?

Might be time to consider Change.

Probably the following option is what you want:

In Explorer

- Tools/Folder Options/View/Restore previous folder windows at logon

I don't ever turn this option on myself, and I've never used WinAce so I

don't know of any connection with that, but it may do something to stop

this even if you do set the option on.

Many thanks!! I thought for sure that would

fix it. But alas, it was already checked.

I hit Apply and reboot, no help.

Hard to get used to, but superneat!

Ya. Thanks. I guess I'll uninstall it and pray.

I've been noticing some sluggishness and other

weirdness too, since install.

If no help, I'll try a system restore (resore?) for

the first time ever. Any tips or warnings on that?

You can't get over my sig!?

Laff! Kinda oversensitive aintcha?

Don't feel bad. The neocons did not support

Duhbya in the 2000 primaries. He's just a

newbie convert.

...they supported John McCain.
