Configuration Help needed

I'm trying to setup a TS Server to my network. The server is attached to the

domain but it is not part of the DNS. We are wanting the TS Server to be

stand-alone if possible. We have added the client licenses and everything

looks as if it ready to go. When I attempt to login in I get our default

security screen (which is normal), a login screen, and I am able to login in.

However, the screen then blanks out and stays blank for approximately 45

seconds and I get the following error:

Logon Message

The system cannot log you on due to the following error:

The RPC server is unavailable.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Ted

Looks like DNS issue. Please check any event log on server and client.

Re: Configuration Help needed

What is the Windows version of Terminal Services are you running?

Can you try login to the TS Server with its IP address?

Re: Configuration Help needed

Thanks for your reply. Should the Terminal Services Server also be a DNS

Server?
