The Acer (c:) drive on my pc turned red because it was running out of space, so my son uninstalled some of his programs & since then there is some things not opening when i go into them, like files ending in .cct, .rpt .ger .pub .inx .hdr .bin & the Advanced System Protector, Launch Internet Explorer Browser & Windows Live Family Safety icons are just blank & when i open ASP & LIEB it says “the item you selected is unavailable”. I have just noticed when i was in my e-mail that my friend sent me some photos & the ones with .jpg opened but the one with bmp didn't. I don't know if i have some sort of virus or my son uninstalled some programs by mistake. Is there anyway you can help me or tell me who can help me.

Hi,

Each file type requires the relevant or a program capable of opening them

.cct is a macromedia format (adobe)

so if the program required has been removed then yes you will get an error message, install Adobe reader and flash again from the Adobe site:-

Adobe - United Kingdom

Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)

Asus P5K premium black pearl

4GB OCZ Reaper 8500

260GTX

Yes, if you try and open one, it will bring up a dialog box with two selections, one is search the web to find the appropriate program..

It then tells you what can open them
