Installing programs problem

Recently i am unable to install programs into the correct folders even if i select it

they install into the windows folder

 

i have noticed in the installers %f or %s etc the installer is not corrupt this happens with all files when i install them, i cannot think of anything why its doing this its never happened before and i don't want to reinstall windows

So when it asks for where you would like to install to you are browsing to C:/programs

 

I take it that you are an administrator of the PC?
