I have a windows server 2003 that was upgraded from windows 2000. Update

MS07-055 fails everytime I try to apply the patch.

I found the workaround details which state to uninstall the Kodak Image

viewer and this is what I have discovered.

Imaging is not listed in add\remove programs or components. I browsed to

the inf folder, located the Sysoc.inf file but did not find the following

line to remove hide.

imagevue=ockodak.dll,ImagingOcEntry,imagevue.inf,hide,7

I have all of the following files and kodakimg.exe opens properly.

%Systemroot%t\System32\Oieng400.dll

%ProgramFiles%\Windows NT\Accessories\Imagevue\Kodakimg.exe

%ProgramFiles%\Windows NT\Accessories\Imagevue\Kodakprv.exe

I'm not sure what to do at this point to either remove kodak image viewer or

have the update work. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Hello dusty,

Install "Windows installer Cleanup utility" and start it to remove the program:

Thanks for the tip. The installer clean utility as installed, but I didn't

think about running it. Okay, so I ran the utility, but kodak image viewer

isn't shown in the list of installed products.
