Guest boba Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 I can ping the ip address. But can't connect remotely. Also can't get through the share name either: \\machinename\ etc. I have the correct IP address and DNS shows the machine name with that ip address. I can ping machine by name also. I would appreciate any help! Thanks!
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Re: Can't remote in to one of the machines on Network Hello boba, What do you mean with connect remote into? Remote desktop protocol or access share with command line. Be more specific, also post the OS you use on client and server? Also post an unedited ipconfig /all from both machines. Guest boba Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Re: Can't remote in to one of the machines on Network Access share with command line. I can get access to all other machines through the command line for access share. But for this particular machine I get the message "The network path was not found". Thanks for your quick response.
