re: Serious Services help Please !

While removing a program thru control panel my computer did something I have

never experienced. All my services have been disabled without me doing it,

when running config and rebooting with "loading everything" they still don't

load. When I went to system restore it shows no restore point, (i never shut

system restore off on this system & always have it on). Hardware such as

modem, printers etc are gone, I cannot even load device manager...what should

I do ?????

Thanks, Paul.

I was removing a Dell Support Center program that never worked correctly. I

forgot to mention that I just downloaded and upgraded to SP3 the day before,

wasn't sure if this might have contributed to the problem...

Try uninstalling SP3. Then, shut down all virus programs, do a disk cleanup,

defrag and then reinstall SP3. Use Windows firewall only.
