papple77 Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help There is an explanation here: Opera 9 Bookmarks - How to Import Firefox Bookmarks To Opera 9 For Windows - About Web Browsers Assuming you have Opera v9 thanks for the info, only partial success though, transfered the 'base' firefox bookmarks (help etc) but not my 100's of personal bookmarks,i assume they are stored in a folder elsewhere, havent got a clue where though!! prob will just have to transfer my most used manually and reuse firefox when i need a less used one. KenB Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I have just tried this importing Internet Explorer Favorits to Opera. I got them all. Are you sure that you imported them from the correct location? You could always create a file on the desktop - call it "favorites". Copy the F-F favorites to this folder. Open Opera and follow the import wizard. When it comes to locating the folder direct it to the newly created "favorites" folder on the desktop. I have just tried this method and it works too.
