Can you give us more info?

You say changed to W7 (was something else on it before) or do you mean you had another PC and this is now a new one with W7 on...

Normally this happens if you just turn the PC off by the switch at the wall or holding the power button down..

You cant use sleep to shut down a PC, it literally just makes the PC sleep so that when you come back and press the keys it resumes (almost like suspend)

If you then turn it off at the wall then it will give you the error as you describe

This should show you how to shut the system down correctly.

Then by all means turn the power off at the socket if you want.

Sorry about that astragirl. darksun was a spammer pedaling his wares. I have banned him and deleted all his posts.

Glad you're all fixed up.
