windows xp/realtek drivers

Hi guys

i need to update my drivers but im not sure how to do it im running windows xp can anyone help please

You can try windows update and look under the hardware tab...

 

Failing that go to start>control panel>system> device manager> click on the sound + (there may show more than one) choose the realtek and then there is an 'update driver' box

If you click that it will search the web and also any media (in the optical drive)

 

Failing that then visit the Realtek website or your MOBO manufacturer website and d/l your latest driver

So you tried to update the driver and not it doesnt work?

go back to the same place and there is a roll back driver option, do that.

 

if you tried windows update and there was no driver then you need to go to your MOBO manufacturer site
