clueless1988 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I cannot download Windows Live Messenger as I am getting an error message stating that I have to be the administrator. I am the administrator. My operating system is Vista 64 bit and the error code is 0x80070005. Please help! Quote

If only yourself, have you set a password for any accounts, and are you sure you are using the correct one? If you followed all the instructions given in this link= Error 0x80070005 - Windows Live It should get you to the users and groups list, so try again to be sure, also where it says "right click" for any part of it be sure you have done so, let us know if still no good.
