I cannot download Windows Live Messenger as I am getting an error message stating that I have to be the administrator. I am the administrator. My operating system is Vista 64 bit and the error code is 0x80070005. Please help!

The Diagnostic tool doesnt do anything and just displays genuine at the top and when I try to locate local users and groups its non existant.

Hi, are there any other users of this computer? if so how many?

If only yourself, have you set a password for any accounts, and are you sure you are using the correct one?

It should get you to the users and groups list, so try again to be sure, also where it says "right click" for any part of it be sure you have done so, let us know if still no good. All the best with it,
