PPP connection timeout

Hi everyone,

I am using Windows XP to make a Call to remote linux system. My Linux is

configured as Host and Windows XP pc as guest (initiates call). Since the

network is introducing delay more than 500msec, I am not able to establish

the PPP call successfully.

 

One option I see to do that is changing the PPP timeout paramter. Can any

one tell me how and where to do that?

Second option is to use script (.scp files) where we can modify the timeout

value. But how to run this script? Do I need to make any chnage in the

registry for that?
